The Rotary Club of Nagpur Vision, in its commitment to community service and empowerment, undertook the initiative to establish a computer lab catering specifically to physically disabled children at Matru Seva Sangh, Nagpur. The objective was to provide the physically challenged children access to technology, to facilitate learning and developing essential digital skills and empower them by fostering independence and self-confidence through technology. RCNV donated 4 Computers and renovated the existing lab at Matru Seva Sangh. The lab was inaugurated at the hands of PP Sohrab Kanga in the presence of President Ajay Uplanchiwar. Present for the inauguration were President elect, Jaishree Chhabrani, Hon. Secretary Madhumati Dhawad, Directors Nitya Agarwal, Farnberg Bharucha, and Dr Pushpa Bhave. The in-charge Mrs Chitra Tatwawadi briefed about the philanthropic and social cause activities done by their organisation, Matru Seva Sangh since the start in 1921. PP Sohrab Kanga addressed the students and stressed the need to be computer savvy in today’s digital world as it opens doors to countless opportunities. He congratulated the efforts of team RCNV in setting up the computer lab and promised to be of assistance in case any requirement arises. President Ajay Uplanchiwar thanked the Directors Nitya Agrawal, Farnberg Bharucha and Dinesh Naidu for taking the initiative and getting the lab renovated and equipped with proper computers. In conclusion, the establishment of the computer lab for physically disabled children by the Rotary Club of Nagpur Vision signifies a significant step towards fostering inclusivity, empowerment, and education for this underserved community. With continued support and dedication, this initiative has the potential to positively impact the lives of many more children with disabilities in the future.
