FREE MULTISPECIALITY MEDICAL HEALTH CHECK UP
CAMP FOR ROAD TRAFFIC POLICE
A noble initiative was started by Rotary Club of Nagpur Vision in collaboration with SevenStar Hospital, Nagpur from 9th August to 20th August 2021. A diagnostic health checkup camp was conducted for the traffic police personnel of Nagpur. Honourable chief guest Mr Sarang Awad inaugurated the event. Mr Vikarm Naidu , President RCNV, Director Medical Services, Dr Pooja Poddar ,CMD SevenStar Hospital, Dr Prashant Rahate, Dr. Sadashiv Bhole Director SevenStar Hospital and other directors ,dignitaries and Rotarians were present for the inauguration.
The camp continued for 10 days and received enormous response from the enthusiastic police department. Around 250+ officials were scanned out of which many were diagnosed with hypertension, diabetes, fistula, hernia etc.
As we know, the road traffic officials are stressed due to their duties & responsibilities. Two sessions on mental health awareness were conducted during the camp. On 10 th August, Dr Ramesh Hasani, Intensivist, SevenStar Hospital conducted an intresting session on Stress management.
On 11th Aug Dr. Rucha Vaidya ,clinical Psychologist. Conducted an informative session where she discussed different methods to recognise stress and deal with it. She also spoke about anger management. Along with health checkup ,a tree plantation drive was also conducted by by SevenStar Hospital with the slogan SAVE TREES SAVE LIFES.
