Snehaanchal

Snehaanchal is a hospice for terminally ill cancer patients run by Mr. Jimmy Rana, CEO of Dinshaw’s Ice Cream. RCNV supports this noble project by way of monetary and other modes of help provided by its members. The recurring cost of running this hospice is very high, like doctors’ salaries, medicines, perishables, staff etc., hence the club does its utmost in aiding the smooth functioning of Snehaanchal.

• Snehaanchal is an existing 15 bed Palliative Care Hospice free of cost for terminally ill needy & BPL patients maintained by an individual Mr. Jimmy Rana. It’s a State-of-the-art facility.

• This year, our club undertook the responsibility of financially supporting the cost of maintaining one bed at the Hospice amounting to Rs 25,000/- per month from July 2018.The entire contribution of Rs 3 lakhs came from our own members and their families.

• Also, our members visited the Hospice regularly to teach their nursing staff conversing English as they regularly go through advance training & refresher courses in Bangalore which is in English.

• It is a great humanitarian service for the terminally ill cancer affected underprivileged patients helping them in reaching their end in a painless and peaceful manner.
