Rotary Visions Surgical Camp “Sparsh” at Armori, Gadchiroli
October 9th, culminated into 23 surgeries by the Rotary Club of Nagpur Vision at Armori , Gadchiroli ( around 140 kms from Nagpur ) from a super successful diagnostic camp ‘Sparsh‘ held on August 14th. Almost 1000 people attended the camp and received free medicine and health checks.Approximately 30 patients were identified for various surgeries that were scheduled for October. The team of doctors and volunteers arrived in the evening on October 8th. The next morning, 23 major surgeries were performed back to back for 6 hours . The required medical equipment and logistics were sponsored by RCNV . RCNV is grateful for the noble service of the doctors and volunteers, namely -Dr Vikram Alsi ,Dr Rajesh Singhvi , Dr Chaitanya Deshmukh ,Dr Jamaiwar ,Dr Gagan Agrawal Dr. Nilesh Thakre, Dr. Aishwarya, Dr. Ruta, Dr. Satyam, Dr. Akshay, two OT assistants, Sangita and Shivam, President Dr Shivani Sule, Hon Sec Ritika Singhvi, Director Medical, Rtn Dr Rupeshri Bhoyar, Director Rtn Abhishek Ghatode, Rtn Dinesh Naidu, Rtn Dr Madhumati Dhawad., Rtn Altaf Sadikot. A special mention and thanks to Shri Vivek Masal and his team of the State Reserve Police Force, Unit 13, Wadsa Dist. Gadchiroli, for their consistent support and hospitality for this Flagship project , ‘Sparsh‘ of the Rotary Club of Nagpur Vision . Mementos were given to the doctors and volunteers as a token of appreciation.
