Spreading the message of love, Rotary club of Nagpur Vision conducted the club’s largest tree plantation drive on 2nd October 2023, commemorating the birth anniversary of the Father of our Nation, Gandhiji. This event was held at Dongargaon Kanholi Road, Wardha Road, Nagpur and was a remarkable environmental initiative.
Rtn. Pravin Jain (owner Mauli Infra) sponsored the 2000 trees. Director Community, Nitya Agrawal coordinated the event.
7′ to 12′ height trees of various varieties like Mahogany; Saptaparni; Kadamb; Conocarpus; Chafa; Mirchimeri Palm, Phoenix palm; Bakul; Pandanus ranging from ₹1500 to ₹3000 were planted.
With the motto “Make Earth Green Again”, President Ajay Uplanchiwar; Director Community Nitya Agrawal; Chairpersons- Manish Agrawal, Rakhi Amidwar, Swati Belkhade, Payal Mallelwar, Tanushree Vijaywargi and Yuvraaj Pandharipande; Vice President Ritesh Amidwar; Jt Sec Rashmi Shahu; Director Rupam Mulak along with 30 Rotarians participated in this very successful tree plantation drive.
