The family that plays together stays together. With this firm belief, around 40 members of the RCNV family embarked upon a 2 day sojourn to Kanha…the land of the tiger. Helmed by Director Abhishek Ghatode, ably supported by Aeyjaz Akolawala, sparked by Prez Shivani and Secy Ritika, the Kanha Picnic lived up to its billing and even exceeded expectations. With the entire Sterling resort booked for RCNV, the whole experience was planned and executed to perfection. The first day we had riverside walks, outdoor games and basic relaxation till evening, after which Secy Ritika and PP Sohrab organised party games which were fiercely contested and thoroughly enjoyed by all. Then a poolside fellowship rounded off the perfect day. The next day after more outdoor games and relaxation we experienced the Kanha Tiger Safari, thoroughly enjoying the dense jungle and a variety of wildlife sightings, including some unique ones. Some of us were even lucky enough to sight the magnificent Tiger! In the evening, another poolside fellowship included karaoke singing, an avenue in which RCNV members are tremendously talented. Some singing gems among our members were thrown up to the pleasant surprise of all present. The trip ended after breakfast the next morning and all returned home safely. There were many kids present too who had a gala time with the games and the pool. The cuisine matched the planning, the experiences matched the enthusiasm and the participation matched the occasion perfectly. It was indeed a memorable experience which many more RCNVians should have enjoyed!
