The Deaf and Dumb Residential School in Saoner caters to the educational and developmental needs of children with hearing and speech impairments. While the school has been providing quality education, there was a noticeable lack of sports equipment and utility items, hindering the students’ holistic growth. RCNVfrom the funds generated from Kidathon held in January 2024 aimed to provide essential sports goods and utility items to support the students in their physical and educational development and their extracurricular activities. The donation event took place on 5th June at the premises of the Deaf and Dumb School in Saoner.
President Ajay, PP Rajiv Behal, Hon. Secretary Madhumati, Hon. Treasurer Amit Chandak, Directors Nitya Agrawal and Farnberg Bharucha were present to support the initiative. The donations included-
o Sports equipment (Badminton Racquets, Badminton Net, Volley Ball Net, Hockey set (Jr), Tennis Set (Jr) W/Balls, Golf Set W/ Trolley (Jr)).
o Indoor games (Chess sets, Plastic Balls).
o Utility items (Classroom furniture).
The contributions received by the school will undoubtedly make a positive difference in the lives of the students, empowering them to pursue their academic and extracurricular aspirations with renewed Vigor.
