During the installation of the new board of President Shivani Sule and her team for 22-23, a life changing act of generosity was shown by RCNV members. Organ donation drive was conducted during the installation ceremony and a whooping 42 members pledged for organ donation and made it a huge success. The installation of President Shivani Sule was held on 16th July at the hotel center point with a lot of fanfare amidst the august presence of chief guest Rotary International Director Rtn Dr. Mahesh Kotbagi. Many dignitaries graced the occasion including the Assistant Governor Mr. Chotwani, PDGs, PPs, representatives of various partner organisations, Presidents and Secretaries of other rotary clubs, and the district office bearers. It was a packed house as the overall attendance crossed 250 for the gala evening. IPP Vikram Naidu called the meeting to order and gave a detailed account of the year 21-22. He also announced the awards for the year 21-22. President Dr. Shivani Sule inducted 25 new members to the club, soaring the total strength to above 200 along with the installation of the new board comprising Hon. Secretary Ritika Singhvi, Hon Treasurer Rt. Ritesh Amidwar, and President Elect Rotarian Rt. Ajay Uplanchiwar, Vice President Rt. Pinaki Mukherjee, Joint Secretary Dr. Akshay Daga, Sgt. at Arms Rt. Anagha Jaiswal, Director- Admin & Finance Rt. Abhishek Ghatode, Director- Medical Dr. Rupeshri Bhoyar, Director- Non Medical Sandeep Durugkar, Director- Vocation Nitin Sachdeva, Director- Rt.Youth Dhawal Jain, Director-TRF Rt. Mohit Chaoudhary, Director Public Image Dr. Rashmi Shahu, Immediate Past President Rt. Vikram Naidu. In the chief guest address, RI Director, Dr. Mahesh Kotbagi emphasised on the ethos of rotary whilst reminiscing his association with RCNV. He also emphasized on the fact that how Rotary India is working to get students back to school Post Covid -19. The theme for Rotary year 2022-23 is Imagine, Involve and Evolve, that was stressed upon by Shivani Sule in her Presidential Address. The formal vote of thanks was given by Hon Secretary Ritika Singvi. The installation was followed by the charter night in which the singing sensation of city Shubhankar, along with his troupe sang peppy numbers prompting the members to dance and sing with aplomb late into the night. It was surely an evening to remember with the camaraderie amongst the members and the other guests on full display, signifying the overall zest and enthusiasm with which our club conducts its affairs.
