On the 25th of June, Kavya Amrit – a Hindi kavi samellan was organized by our club in association with JCI Medicos at the Suresh Bhatt Auditorium. A four-way test board was installed by director Abhishek Ghatode along with President Shivani and other members. A galaxy of 6 nationally reputed poets graced our city and entailed the public with the mastery over the language. The nuances and the witty repertoire of those brilliant poets left the audience of over 700 people spellbound for over 3 hours. Shubham Shyam, Aman Akshar, Sudeep Bola, Shashikant Yadav, and the dynamic lady duo of Kavita Tiwari and Ankita Singh mesmerized us with their renditions ranging from emotional to humorous and patriotic to political satire. A multitude of sponsors aided our efforts to make this event a success. The proceeds of this event shall be given to the hemophilia society and for the purchase of breast pumps.
President Shivani, secretary Ritika, treasurer Ritesh, PP Rajiv along with a lot of volunteers made this program a huge success. Project Director Akshay Daga and the silent yet highly efficient Manish Agarwal supported and helped in the smooth conduction of the event.
This was without doubt another feather in the burgeoning cap of our illustrious club.
